Blog post

This week we watched a video about hunting. In the video it showed a lot of people that all join together that all hunt and ate what they hunted. They had a big cooking competition when they had to show their meat that they got themselves. They then had to prepare and service it to the judges to see who had the best dish. They hunted rabbits, squirrels, deers and more.

They talked about how hunting is just as important to agriculture as farming is. I thought about this and I agree, hunting keeps a balance in an ecosystem. In my seminar class we read an article about hunting deer. It talked about that if people did not hunt their would be to many deers and the plants that grow would not be able to survive. Also if people eat what they hunt they know exactly what they are putting in their body. When people buy things in the store they do not know exactly were their meat is coming from. That means it is filled with chemicals and other things not found in nature that we should not be putting into our bodies.

  1. As someone who has hunted all their life, I can agree with the fact that the meat being harvested from these animals is some of the healthiest meat someone can have. If animals aren't hunted, then they will eventually eat up all the plant and the animals that eat those plants will starve causing a chain reactions of other living creatures starving because of their food source dying out. Maybe add some quotes from the book or other documents that we have read in class into your post to add more content to it and give you a little more to write about
