This blog represents the work of my English 102 course at Bridgewater State University. The blog posts reflect not only the readings, but also the students' reflection and critique of the ideas presented. We will discuss and write about the environmental issues surrounding the use of pesticides, as well as the consequences of our current agricultural practices and policies and the moral, ethical, social, and economical implications of these practices.

weekly blog post
This week was very interesting because on Monday we brought all of the food we made for the food project. I didn't expect to see that much amazing food. I brought in the spaghetti and meatballs and I'm pretty sure no one touched it. I don't blame them because it was cold. I tried some of the other peoples food and I thought it was really good. Today we just watched a documentary that talked about how the soil isn't as good as it used to be because of the carbon levels. They found a way to fix this problem by adding a thin layer of composite. I thought it would have been a lot harder to solve the problem, but based off of what I saw in the documentary they have the situation handled. That is what I found interesting this week in class.
