This blog represents the work of my English 102 course at Bridgewater State University. The blog posts reflect not only the readings, but also the students' reflection and critique of the ideas presented. We will discuss and write about the environmental issues surrounding the use of pesticides, as well as the consequences of our current agricultural practices and policies and the moral, ethical, social, and economical implications of these practices.

I consider food a very important part of my life and other people's lives. "In My Grandmother's Kitchen" helped me realize that family is also very important when it comes to food as well. Whenever I go over my grandma's house she always made a lot of food and we would sit down all together as a family. Food isn't just for survival, it also brings people together to enjoy food and to spend time with one another. My favorite kind of food is Italian food, and my grandparents are 100 percent Italian. The Italian food they made is amazing, my favorite was the lasagna and the pasta. In conclusion, this is what I learned from reading "In My Grandmother's Kitchen".

I agree with your post and ideas. Even though I am not Italian, I have many similar experiences around food.
