connection to nature

In class we were told to o right about a connection we had with nature. I wrote how I liked to go to the beach and watch the sun set, feel the breeze hit my face. I always felt relaxed, even when I was having a bad week overall it would just relax me and ease me down. I always felt a positive way about nature, when I was younger I would love to play outside I felt like I could do anything when I was outside. Going outside and playing around in a way made me the active person I am today, I playing you name it and I will play. When playing outside and playing all those games, I started to lose weight which made me even happier, made me appreciate nature and the weather.

In class today we all shared our stories, it was intersecting hearing everyone's different interacting with nature. I learned that somewhere near fall river there is a forest that is haunted, and in the forest there is a cliff that as a history of people jumping off because, of the spirts that are around tempting you to jump off. Now for as long as I live I know not to go into the forest, and knowing that there has been a spotting of the kkk there I am all set. This writing assessment made me realize that I have to go out more and enjoy it more because, we don't know how long the land will remain the same the way we are treating it.

  1. I agree with how you said the sun and the beach is very relaxing. Usually when I go to the beach, I go to relax and not really worry about anything else. Everything about the beach is very calming. Even living at least 2 hours away from a beach, I still always make time to go over the summer because of how soothing just going for a couple days is.

  2. In class when they talked about that it made me wonder why would people even want to go there. Although listening to the stories in class even though some were crazy, some had a strong relationship with nature and some left with memories they'll remember forever. Listening to the stories it told people of new places they can go and experience based off of their stories.
